On the Blog: Making a diffference

Since we opened the doors, we have been passionate about brands that give back to our community and the world.  Recently, we discovered “One Cord”.

 

The average U.S. family spends over $800 per month on childcare, making it one of the largest household expenses. For over 12 million families in America, this cost falls on a single parent. As a single parent of 3 amazing kids, I personally know it take a village.  I am lucky enough to have help, but I also know the fear felt on days I almost didn’t have help.  The success of Halie’s and customers shopping local is extremely important to my children and I, as a single mom.  We shop local more than ever, especially in a time where the internet seems to take over and consumers are losing touch with the world at hand.  When I discovered OneCord I knew it was a brand and product we had to have in store.  I personally wear my OneCord everyday knowing its purchase went to help someone that needed it.  I encourage you to all to stop in and grab your favorite color and wear it proudly this summer.
